Electrical

Bigger electrical jobs. Paperwork that keeps up.

Panel upgrades and rewires run in phases, with steps that cannot be skipped. Trades Operator keeps the checklist, the photos, the approval and the invoice on one job, and recovers the calls and bids you were missing.

An open electrical panel with labeled breakers.

Lost revenue

Where an electrical shop loses work and time.

Missed calls

When nobody picks up, Operator can text the caller back and drop the call into your queue as a draft lead.

Lost bids

A stuck-estimates report shows what is open and for how long. Bigger jobs sit longer, so follow-up matters more.

Lapsed customers

A dormant-customer program finds past customers you have not served in a while and invites them back, within their marketing consent.

Billing that lags

Phased work billed late is money you wait on. Add the next phase to the same invoice as the job moves.

How it works

Built around how the work really runs.

Checklists with steps that cannot be skipped.

Build a required checklist for each service, then attach it to the jobs that need it. Add the steps your shop and your inspector expect, such as permit and inspection steps, and mark them required.

  • Reusable job templates that combine a checklist with Pricebook items
  • Techs add a work note and photo from the field
  • Trades Operator tracks the steps you define. It does not tell you what code requires.

Estimates, deposits and approvals in one place.

Send a private link for the customer to review, approve and sign. Request a deposit and collect it after they approve. Accepted work turns into an invoice, and the approval stays with the job.

  • Good, better, best options when the customer has a choice
  • Deposit collected after approval
  • Everything saved to the customer and the job

Progress invoicing on one invoice.

After an invoice is issued, add the next phase of work or edit unpaid lines. Paid lines stay as they are, and every change is kept in the invoice history.

  • The payment link is replaced with one for the new balance
  • The new total cannot go below what is already paid
  • Text the customer the update

Operator works like a member of your staff.

Ask in plain words and get an answer from your own jobs, calls and invoices. When there is a next step, such as a follow-up on a stalled estimate, Operator drafts it and waits for you.

  • Find open estimates and draft follow-ups for approval
  • Answers come from your records, not guesses
  • Important actions are recorded with who and when

Built-in GPS and call transcripts.

Techs clock in from the field app, and their phone location is saved only while they are clocked in. Owners and admins see Team now. Calls are recorded and transcribed where your company turns recording on, with the required notice, and each one gets a summary on the call page.

  • Route the day: build a driving order for one technician and send it to maps
  • Timesheet and mileage reports for the office
  • Transcript and summary on every recorded call, linked to the customer and the job
  • A separate tracking number per ad shows which source rang

Books that follow the work. Bring QuickBooks along.

Invoices, payments and expenses come from the jobs your team already runs, so you are not re-entering them into a separate books file. Connect QuickBooks Online to bring in your accounts, customers, Pricebook items, invoices and payments, and move your history over.

  • Profit and loss, balance sheet, general ledger and trial balance, on cash or accrual basis
  • Bank accounts connect through Plaid
  • Export to CSV or Excel for your CPA
  • Every number opens to the job or payment behind it
